About Robyn
Robyn Porter joined Risk Advisory Services in August 2024 as a Senior Consultant. She brings with her over 30 years of insurance and risk management experience gained within the insurance industry and while working for ASX 200 Companies as a senior leader in risk and insurance.
Over the last 20 years, Robyn has been highly successful in leading and building risk and insurance management internal processes and driving business capability. Passionate about a team approach between client, broker, and insurer to get the best possible risk and insurance outcome, Robyn is experienced in establishing positive relationships between all parties, understanding stakeholder interests and working with a business to improve and market its risk profile leading to positive differentiation in the insurance market and lower cost.
She is also a claims management professional across general insurance and workers compensation classes and secured many millions of insurance settlements including recoveries of self-insured or below deductible claims from negligent third parties totalling over $100 million.
Robyn has worked across various industry sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, distribution, cement and concrete manufacturing, quarries and land and sea transport.
She has a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and English) from the Adelaide University and is also a ANZIIF Affiliate (as it was called back in the day).
