We are a rapidly expanding insurance and risk management consultancy practice with a large client base of ASX200, private corporate and public sector clients in a diverse range of industries.

You will join a team of highly experienced, technically astute, and ambitious insurance and risk management professionals. We offer a dynamic and challenging working environment with strong managerial support providing the opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge and personal attributes.

Senior Consultants work both in project teams and individually and are responsible for:

  • Maintenance of our clients’ insurance programmes
  • Understanding clients’ corporate objectives and culture and ensuring that their insurance programmes are consistent with their needs
  • Liaising with insurance service providers, including insurance brokers, regarding all aspects of insurance, including programme design, placement and claims
  • Developing and implementing insurance frameworks and strategies
  • Reviewing complex insurance arrangements and undertaking analytical reviews to support insurance program enhancements and structural recommendations
  • Supporting the implementation of recommended insurance program modifications or enhancements
  • Providing ad-hoc advice on insurance related matters


An important part of this position will be the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in senior management roles.

About you

You should be an astute problem solver with a personal ethic to provide a high level of service to our clients. You should have the confidence to work individually with initiative while being equally comfortable working within a team environment.

The core requirement for this role is a deep and broad knowledge of the Australian insurance industry. You should have excellent technical knowledge on all classes of insurance with a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in general insurance in either a corporate, broking or insurer background. You should also have established communication and presentation skills with a desire to think outside the box.

Tertiary education and/or professional qualifications in general insurance or risk management are highly desirable. Previous insurance consulting experience or experience as an in-house insurance manager would be advantageous.
